At the very beginning, watch the dove come strolling out on top of the fence in the right edge of the frame (like a bully who owns the place?). Also, throughout the footage, keep an eye on the bush behind the fence. Not really battling—just kidding, it is actually peaceful coexistence, like the excellent video here by YouTube Username “raymuser”: www.youtube.com Location: Point Loma (San Diego), California. Directly in the flight path of San Diego International Airport. Feeder contains half generic Ralph’s wild bird seed and half black oil sunflower seeds. Water in large bowl on left. Urbanized residential homes complex (subdivision) with 220 units. Footage is facing an open greenway (grass corridor, long stretch of lawn lying between/formed by the rears (with patios shown and balconies) of 10 homes. Silver-eyes otherwise known as wax-eyes or white-eyes are native to New Zealand, Australia and other islands in the south pacific. They like to feed on citrus, feijoas, figs, grapes, pears and persimmons. Here they are finishing off two slices of bread and some tangelos. These suet feeders are a great way to attract small birds to your garden. They can hold 2 slices of bread or a suet block. We also make a vertical model. Squirrel Buster Plus Bird Feeder with Removable Cardinal Ring This posigrip ring system has been specifically designed to attract cardinals.
These perennial favorites have two very distinct features: small necks and big feet. They prefer gripping a thicktextured perch and facing their food source directly. Cardinals dislike turning their heads to feed.
The Squirrel Buster Plus Cardinal Ring perch system allows them to eat facing the seed while providing a secure and comfortable perch.
These cardinalfriendly feeding features combined with a bush level location make Squirrel Buster Plus very inviting to cardinals.
The seed ports close automatically when a squirrel climbs onto the feeder.
