Heres another clip of a family of Goldfinches feeding in my garden – only 6ft from my lounge window. I have added a perch to my feeding station so that they can wait in turn to get onto the feeders. Im hoping that this family will stay with us through the the autumn and winter months!!!
Squirrel Buster Plus Bird Feeder with Removable Cardinal Ring This posigrip ring system has been specifically designed to attract cardinals.
These perennial favorites have two very distinct features: small necks and big feet. They prefer gripping a thicktextured perch and facing their food source directly. Cardinals dislike turning their heads to feed.
The Squirrel Buster Plus Cardinal Ring perch system allows them to eat facing the seed while providing a secure and comfortable perch.
These cardinalfriendly feeding features combined with a bush level location make Squirrel Buster Plus very inviting to cardinals.
The seed ports close automatically when a squirrel climbs onto the feeder.

Here are 6 goldfinches feeding from my feeders located outside of my lounge window. I have positioned the feeding station so that we get a great view! I love nothing more than watching the garden birds enjoying the food that I have out out for them. They seem to love sunflower hearts but are not so keen on wild bird seed lol. They must know that they are more expensive!!!!
An AMAZING video of the American Goldfinch. Absolutely beautiful video. They love my finch sock. I see at least 10 American goldfinches on it each day. If you want to know if this finch sock works, IT DOES. I recommend buying it. A chipmunk came one day and its teeth ripped the sock and some of the seeds fell to the ground. I gave that chipmunk the scare its life when I trapped him in the gutter where he hides. He started croaking like a frog and barfed out all the seeds in his mouth. he had a handful of seeds. He keeps coming ever single day. I GIVE UP.
Peaceful scene showing cooperation in sharing food between Finches and Doves. Tray below feeder was added to catch seeds dropping from feeder. Bigger tray also gives doves comfortable landing and feeding space. Keeping seeds from dropping to ground reduces birds from feeding from ground and being threatenned by cats, such as my Princess, and several other cats who love to hunt around this area. More doves will be seen in future scenes.
