This male Baltimore oriole stops in at my humming bird feeder once a year since 2007. I live in New Hampshire and videoed this a couple weeks ago. This is the first time I put out an orange for him. He usually just drinks the humming bird feed. I wish it would nest in my area. Must be he is just passing through.

American Goldfinch in HD 2

Posted by Filed Under Thistle Bird Feeder with 3 Comments

An AMAZING video of the American Goldfinch. Absolutely beautiful video. They love my finch sock. I see at least 10 American goldfinches on it each day. If you want to know if this finch sock works, IT DOES. I recommend buying it. A chipmunk came one day and its teeth ripped the sock and some of the seeds fell to the ground. I gave that chipmunk the scare its life when I trapped him in the gutter where he hides. He started croaking like a frog and barfed out all the seeds in his mouth. he had a handful of seeds. He keeps coming ever single day. I GIVE UP.
